Technician (Singaporean & Permanent Residents only)

Position Summary • Adhere to sound engineering practices, building codes and follow safety precautions. • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. • To execute preventive management and repair schedules of the machinery, equipment, and facilities of our residences • Inspect and maintain machinery, troubleshoots, diagnoses, repair or replaces defective systems or components. • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. • Daily routine check of the pump room, consumer switch room, MDF rooms. • Assist supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department. • Perform repairs such as changing light bulbs in the common areas and amenity spaces • Participate in fire-fighting and safety & fire evacuation exercises. • Address Residence owners’ in a professional, positive, and timely manner. • Actively listen and respond positively to the Residence owners questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process to resolve issues, delight, and build trust. • To ensure that our residents are satisfied with the quality of services rendered by the Engineering Department • To ensure that our assets within the residences are kept in good working condition, thereby preserving its long term value. • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. • To comply with Marriott standards in terms of maintenance upkeep & Fire Life Safety. Job Requirements • Basic skills in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing of building equipments. • Willingness to work as a team. • Knowledge of Hotel / Residences Maintenance and Management is preferred. • Knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing & Building Engineering. • Electrical control & trouble-shooting skills.
