Software Developer(JAVA) - Contract

Contract Duration - 6 months renewable Work Location - Singapore East Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and support Java-based backend applications and REST APIs. • Participate in solution design, technical reviews, and application modernization initiatives. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Perform data analysis and write complex SQL queries to investigate issues, validate requirements, and support operational activities. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive solution delivery. • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies. • Perform testing, defect resolution, root cause analysis, and production support activities. • Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-release stabilization activities. • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives. Technical Skills • Min 3+ years Strong experience in Java backend development. • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs. • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices. • Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot, optimize, and write complex SQL queries. • Experience performing data analysis and root cause investigation using SQL across large and complex datasets. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery methodologies. • Linux/Unix and Shell scripting knowledge. • Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and related development tools. • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support experience
