Account Executive EOR

About the company Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that! We’re building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building. Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment. Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we’re building for the next generation of global companies. About the Team Our Sales Team is the driving force behind Aspire's growth. We combine data, technology, and a deep understanding of our customers' pain points to guide businesses toward the right financial solutions. We thrive on challenge, celebrate wins together, and never lose sight of delivering real value to our clients. If you're energised by high ownership, fast-paced environments, and building lasting client relationships, you'll thrive here. About the Role We're hiring a Senior Account Executive to own end-to-end sales for Aspire's Employer of Record (EOR) product. This is a hunter role for a proven closer, someone who doesn't wait for pipeline to land in their lap, but goes out and builds it. You will own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and outbound outreach to running complex, multi-stakeholder deals and driving them to close. You'll work with founders, CFOs, and HR leaders navigating international expansion, cross-border hiring, and compliance complexity and you'll be their trusted advisor through it all. This is the right role for you if you've closed deals at other EOR players and you're ready to bring that playbook to a high-growth fintech with a differentiated product. What You'll Do 1. Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Generation • Build and own your own outbound pipeline through cold outreach, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and partner channels • Identify and target high-fit accounts: startups, scaling SMBs, and mid-market companies with cross-border hiring needs in SG, HK and the broader APAC region • Develop a territory plan and execute it with discipline: tracking activity, pipeline health, and conversion rates in CRM • Collaborate with Marketing to amplify outbound efforts, but hold yourself accountable for pipeline generation regardless 2. Full-Cycle Deal Ownership • Own the end-to-end sales cycle from first outreach to signed contract • Run structured discovery to uncover hiring needs, compliance challenges, headcount growth plans, and key decision-making dynamics • Deliver compelling product demos and tailor value propositions for each stakeholder - HR, Finance, Founders. • Handle commercial negotiation, pricing conversations, and contract sign-off with minimal escalation 3. Consultative Expertise • Serve as the go-to expert on EOR, global payroll, cross-border compliance, and Aspire's product suite • Proactively identify triggers for EOR adoption: market expansion, remote-first hiring strategies, cost optimisation, compliance risk reduction • Advise prospects on country-specific nuances, employment law considerations, and Aspire's coverage across 50+ countries 4. Customer Handoff & Early Success • Ensure a smooth transition from closed-won to onboarding, collaborating closely with Customer Success and Operations • Remain engaged during early customer lifecycle to protect NRR and drive expansion opportunities 5. GTM Collaboration & Feedback Loop • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Product to sharpen positioning, surface product gaps, and refine ICP • Maintain clean CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and detailed deal notes so the whole team benefits from your deal intelligence Minimum Qualifications • 5+ years of B2B SaaS or HRTech/EOR/Payroll sales experience, with at least 2 years in a full-cycle AE role • Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota with specific deal examples you can speak to • Strong outbound muscle: you've built pipeline from scratch, not just worked inbound queues • Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with ACV of USD 30K+ annually • Excellent communication and executive presence - you're comfortable pitching to a CFO or CEO • Based in Singapore or India, with the ability to meet customers in-person when needed Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience at Deel, Remote, Multiplier, Rippling, Velocity Global, Papaya Global, or a comparable EOR/HRTech company • Deep familiarity with EOR, cross-border payroll, global employment compliance, or international HR • Experience selling into the APAC and/or South Asia market - understanding buyer personas, decision cycles, and regional nuances • Comfort using data and CRM analytics to drive forecasting and prioritise opportunities • Ability to run webinars, roundtables, or in-person events to build pipeline and brand presence What We Offer • Competitive base salary with uncapped variable - the more you close, the more you earn • Uncapped flexible annual leave • A high-calibre team of ex-founders, operators, and sales leaders who will push you to grow Equal Opportunity Statement Aspire is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other prote…
