Site Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Responsibilities: • Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks to verify that construction works meet project specifications and standards. • Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme. • Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary Works. • To plan, coordinate and resolve all on-site technical and engineering related matters. • Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical issues resolved on time. • Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat. • Supervise ongoing site activities closely. • Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statement (MOS), monthly progress claims, and project management reports to support project tracking and approvals. • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Company. Requirements: • BCA recognised Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum 3 years experience in the construction site, fresh graduate are welcomed. • Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD • Preferably possess own transport or valid Class 3 license • Have good interpersonal, communication and people management skills • Immediate or short notice preferred
