Required Qualifications • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, DevOps Architect, or Platform Architect within financial services or other highly regulated industries. • Deep expertise in CI/CD architecture and engineering using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or related technologies. • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies. • Extensive experience designing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms, including AKS, ARO, OpenShift, or equivalent environments. • Advanced knowledge of Azure services covering compute, networking, security, identity, monitoring, and governance. • Strong background in microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot, event-driven systems using Kafka, and distributed caching technologies such as Redis or Hazelcast. • Expertise in API architecture, RESTful services, OpenAPI/Swagger standards, and integration design patterns. • Demonstrated experience implementing DevSecOps controls, including SAST, DAST, secrets management, and compliance automation. • Excellent stakeholder management, technical communication, and documentation skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent. • Experience working within large-scale transformation or modernization programmes. • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, regulatory compliance controls, and governance processes. • Experience leading architecture reviews and technology communities of practice.
