Senior Project Engineer

*Please note that the work schedule is 5.5 days/week. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of Data Centre construction projects from design coordination through site execution and project completion. What You'll Do • Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities. • Oversee site works to ensure compliance with project schedules, specifications, quality standards, and ESH requirements. • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required. • Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and technical submissions. • Attend design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. • Work closely with the BIM team to coordinate and update electrical drawings, including containment, power, lighting layouts, and SLDs. • Support the timely issuance of IFC drawings for construction. • Prepare and maintain project documentation, QA/QC records, inspection reports, and monthly progress reports. • Conduct site inspections and ensure works are delivered to the required quality standards. • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities on project-related matters. • Assist in resolving technical and site issues, as well as verifying subcontractor progress claims. What We're Looking For • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project delivery. • Experience in Data Centre projects is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site supervision, project coordination, and QA/QC processes. • Experience with Procore; familiarity with MS Project is advantageous. • Knowledge of BIM coordination and electrical systems/design drawings is preferred. • Candidates with Electrical trade experience in Data Centre construction environments will have an advantage. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills. • Able to thrive in a fast-paced project environment and meet project deadlines.
