Business Development & Marketing Manager

• Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies that strengthen brand awareness, market presence and business performance. • Identify and develop new markets, customer segments, sales channels and commercial opportunities. • Build relationships with customers and key market contacts through networking, business development and industry engagement. • Develop opportunities across the commercial, corporate, consumer, tourism, government and industry sectors. • Identify and coordinate relevant government and tourism industry programmes, projects and initiatives, including proposals, applications, stakeholder liaison, planning and implementation. • Lead major marketing initiatives and events, from planning and coordination through to execution and evaluation. • Oversee online and offline marketing activities, campaigns, promotions and customer acquisition initiatives. • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Finance and other teams to bring new opportunities, campaigns and projects to market effectively. • Monitor market trends, customer behaviour and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and strengthen the company's competitive position. • Measure the effectiveness of marketing and business development initiatives and translate market opportunities into customer growth, sales and revenue. Requirements • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, Hospitality or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, sales or a related commercial role. • Experience in the travel and tourism industry will be an advantage.
