Assistant Operations Manager

Assistant Operations Manager Working Days: Monday to Saturday Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm Job Responsibilities • Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse, logistics and delivery operations. • Plan daily manpower, delivery schedules and operational workflow. • Supervise warehouse assistants and delivery drivers to ensure work is completed efficiently. • Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, checked and dispatched accurately and on time. • Monitor stock movements, inventory accuracy, stock counts and expiry dates. • Coordinate receiving, unloading and proper storage of incoming goods. • Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged goods and delivery-related issues. • Ensure proper warehouse organisation, cleanliness and workplace safety. • Monitor company vehicles, servicing and operational equipment. • Work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Management to resolve daily operational issues. • Improve warehouse and delivery processes to increase efficiency and productivity. • Provide guidance and training to operations staff and monitor work performance. • Assist with warehouse and delivery duties when required during busy periods. • Perform other operational duties assigned by Management. Requirements • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics or operations. • Supervisory or team management experience required. • Experience in food distribution, FMCG or wholesale industry will be an advantage. • Strong organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills. • Hands-on, responsible and able to work independently and as a team. • Able to manage warehouse staff and delivery drivers effectively. • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel and printing of invoices and documents. • Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence is required. • Forklift licence will be an advantage. • Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment. • Able and willing to work overtime when required due to operational needs. We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Operations Manager who is willing to work closely with the operations team and step in when required to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
