Senior / Procurement Executive

The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing procurement operations. He/She ensures quality standards are followed in all activities and processes. He/She further improves processes by advising on sourcing strategies and improvement changes to ensure timely delivery on projects. CORE ROLES AND CRITICAL WORK FUNCTIONS • Documentation of supplier information and update the resource supplier database • Request quotations from suppliers and negotiate pricing, timelines and payment terms. • Prepare to buy analysis reports for project purchase for softscape and hardscape • Compile preliminary tree reports for project submission and monitor approval status. • Issue Purchase Order and ensure on-time delivery. • Keep proper record of overseas purchase and shipment documents. • Assist in planning, coordinating the activities involved in purchasing materials, delivery of materials according to the Project Procurement Plan. • Manage stock inventory and purchasing cost record. • Compile propagation of monthly sales report and monthly rooting quantity report. • Ensure all procurement activities and processes meet quality standards. • Improving the procurement processes by proposing sourcing strategies and suggesting improvement initiatives to enhance the organisation’s ability to meet project deadlines. • Manage vendor selection processes as well as vendor performance evaluation. • Any other relevant duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • At least a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or Horticulture or equivalent • At least two (2) years of working experience in the related field. • Proficient in Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, PowerPoint CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED • Good planning skills and able to multi-task • Result-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to meet deadlines and meticulous
