Assistant Project Manager (Construction) - 5 days workweek!

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their dynamic team: • Employment Type: Permanent • Position: Assistant Project Manager • Location: Islandwide (Current project is at Central) • Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm • Salary Package: Up to $7,200 + Variable Bonus Job Responsibilities: • Support the management in monitoring daily site activities, manpower allocation, material deliveries, and subcontractor progress to ensure alignment with quality standards. • Serve as a central point of contact among consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, quantity surveyors, and safety teams to resolve operational bottlenecks seamlessly. • Prepare and update master schedules, progress reports, statutory submissions, and inspection documentation. • Ensure work execution strictly adheres to approved structural/architectural drawings, technical specifications, and local safety standards. • Assist in testing, commissioning, quality audits, defect rectification, and project completion/ handover procedures. Job Requirements: • At least a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline. • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with a main contractor as an Assistant Project Manager. • Good understanding of construction processes, site coordination, drawings, and project documentation. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with relevant construction/project management software.
