(Senior) Staff Nurse

We think you will enjoy this role if you: • Naturally solve problems proactively • Enjoy mentoring and developing others • Love seniors and persons with dementia! • Remain calm under pressure and rapidly evolving situations • Are willing to roll up your sleeves and support your team when needed • Value collaborative and multidisciplinary work to deliver holistic resident care You will be responsible for: • Timely recognition, escalation, and management of clinical deterioration and emergencies • Supporting residents and families through education, counselling and decision-making • Promoting safety, caring and dignified environments where residents can live well • Reviewing and overseeing clinical assessments, care plans and documentation • Leading clinical audits, incident reviews and quality improvement initiatives • Promoting medication safety, infection prevention and resident safety • Championing person-centred and evidence-based clinical care • Serving as a clinical expert and role model • Ensure quality, continuity and compliance What matters most Clinical expertise in elderly and dementia care is essential.
