Safety Officer – Reclamation Key Responsibilities • Monitor daily safety activities and promote safe work practices at the reclamation site. • Conduct regular site inspections and identify hazards and unsafe practices. • Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with safety rules, procedures and PPE requirements. • Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings. • Monitor marine operations, dredging, filling, heavy equipment, lifting activities and work near water. • Review Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and ensure proper implementation. • Report and investigate accidents, incidents and near misses. • Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors to resolve safety issues. • Ensure compliance with WSH regulations and project safety requirements. • Maintain safety records and follow up on corrective actions until completion.
