Metta Home provides long-term residential and day care services for adults aged 18–55 with intellectual disabilities. Our multidisciplinary team works together to support their health, well-being, independence and social integration. As part of our nursing team, you will play an important role in providing quality care and supporting our clients in their daily lives.
Your Role & Responsibilities
• Supervise and provide guidance to Nurse Aides, Health Attendants and other care/support staff.
• Oversee and attend to the healthcare and medical needs of clients.
• Monitor clients’ well-being and progress, ensuring appropriate standards of care are maintained.
• Support and supervise clients during daily activities and mealtimes, where required.
• Maintain professional communication with clients’ families/caregivers and collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide training and guidance to relevant care staff.
• Prepare duty rosters and support the development of care guidelines, where assigned.
• Recommend and support programmes that enhance clients’ care and development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant nursing/healthcare experience.
• Able to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Responsible, meticulous and service-oriented with a strong commitment to client care.
Working Hours
🕒 5-day rotating work week, on a 2-shift schedule:
• AM Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• PM Shift: 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm
