Job Scope of an Accountant • Prepare and maintain financial records and accounts • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports • Perform bank and account reconciliations • Manage invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting • Prepare documents for tax filing and statutory requirements • Support audits and provide requested financial documentation • Monitor cash flow and financial transactions • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies • Provide management with financial information and analysis for decision-making
