M&E Engineer

Job Description • Provide mechanical engineering support for PPVC projects, covering planning, design coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning. • Coordinate the integration of mechanical services within PPVC modules with architectural, structural, electrical, and other building services. • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions for compliance with project requirements and regulations. • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure proper execution of mechanical works. • Monitor fabrication, delivery, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and PPVC components. • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and Workplace Safety and Health requirements. • Provide technical solutions and recommend improvements to construction methods, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. • Assist with material selection, technical evaluation, procurement coordination, and project documentation. • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and provide technical updates to the Project Manager. • Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned to support the successful and timely completion of PPVC projects. Job Requirements • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. • Relevant experience in PPVC construction and integration of mechanical services is required. • Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, PPVC module integration, installation, testing, and commissioning processes. • Experience in reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submissions. • Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams. • Strong technical, analytical, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
