Sales Executive

Job Title Sales Executive Reports To Sales Manager Location Singapore, based Department Sales - Singapore Experience Level 1-3 years in sales About Tendo Tendo Innovations is a Singapore-headquartered systems integrator spanning Infrastructure, Networking, Cyber Security, Audio Visual and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV), delivered turnkey under one roof. We take a Customer-First approach: we make IT simple, and we build relationships that last. About the Role The Sales Executive supports the sales team in generating and progressing new business, building the foundation for a career in enterprise IT sales. This is a hands-on, coached role: you will learn Tendo's full practice area while developing your own pipeline under the guidance of a Sales Manager. What You'll Do ● Identify and reach out to prospective clients through cold calling, email out reach and networking. ● Set up qualified appointments and discovery meetings for the sales team. ● Support senior sales staff in preparing quotations, proposals and presentations. ● Follow up on outstanding quotes and proposals to keep opportunities moving. ● Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM, including next steps for every opportunity. ● Build a working understanding of Tendo's practice areas (Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Audio Visual, ELV) well enough to have an informed first conversation with a client. ● Progress and close smaller opportunities independently as you gain experience. ● Attend product and vendor training sessions to build technical sales knowledge. What You Bring ● 1-3 years of sales experience; B2B or IT-related sales is an advantage but not required. ● A genuine interest in and basic understanding of IT is preferred; you do not need to be technical, but you should be comfortable learning technical products. ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable speaking with clients at all levels. ● Good spoken and written English; Mandarin is a plus for engaging Greater China-linked clients. ● Comfortable with CRM tools, Excel and basic sales reporting. ● A diploma or degree in business, IT, engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential. ● Resilient and target-driven, comfortable with a role that involves regular out reach and follow-up. ● Willing to travel locally for client meetings. Who We're Looking For We are after someone who is genuinely driven and motivated, with the hunger to build a real career in sales rather than just fill a role. You should be coachable and willing to learn, comfortable picking up new product knowledge quickly, and not afraid of the rejection that comes with prospecting. A positive attitude and persistence matter more than a polished sales resume at this stage. Growth and Development This role is designed as a launchpad. With structured coaching and product training, a strong performer can grow into a full Sales Account Manager or Business Development role within Tendo.
