Business Development Specialist

Role Summary We are looking for a Business Development Specialist (Staff Augmentation) to drive new logo acquisition and new business growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on, hunter-style sales professional with experience selling IT / tech staffing or professional services in a small to mid-sized agency environment. Key Responsibilities • Drive new logo acquisition across tech, enterprise, and scaling organisations • Sell staff augmentation / contract hiring solutions using a parked payroll model • Own end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning, commercial negotiation, and closure • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with consistent deal momentum • Work closely with recruiters to align client demand with talent supply • Identify upsell and repeat business opportunities within new and existing clients • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement, and decision-makers • Track sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts accurately • Represent the business professionally in client meetings and negotiations Requirements & Experience • 3 – 6 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in: • Staff augmentation / IT staffing • Recruitment agency sales • Professional services or contract workforce solutions • Proven success in new business development / hunter roles • Experience working in small agencies or lean sales environments preferred • Strong understanding of contract staffing, payroll models, and margins • Comfortable working independently with ownership and accountability • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills • Results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a target-based role
