In-house Legal Counsel (Construction/ EPC)

Responsibilities: • Provide legal advice and support to the group of companies and business units on a broad range of legal, contractual, corporate and commercial issues; including contracts review, drafting, negotiation and advisory generally • Support commercial, contract and claims management of projects • Support setting up of subsidiaries, associates, branches and project offices, and the closing or liquidation of such set up • Coordinate with external legal counsels and consultants and oversee the progress of their work • Coordinate with and advise business units and departments on legal and contractual matters • Any other duties to be assigned from time to time Prerequisites: • Degree in Law • 6 to 10 years’ post-qualification experience, with good knowledge of construction law and with significant experience in leading negotiation and finalisation of construction contracts, particularly for engineering, procurement and construction projects • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, pro-active and independent • High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks • Willing to travel when required HOW TO APPLY: Interested applicants, please click on “Apply Now” or submit your resume to ref4@trustrecruit.com.sg We regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
