Role at a Glance Supports the firm's Digital Transformationinitiatives by helping to build internal web applications, supporting ERP andbusiness systems, connecting systems through integrations and exploringpractical uses of AI. The role works closely with business teams across thefirm to understand how a professional services firm operates, and helps turnthose processes into simpler, smarter and more automated workflows. We are not looking fordeep expertise in any single platform. A solid technical foundation, curiosityabout how businesses run and a willingness to learn matter more than priorexperience with specific systems. 1. Core Skills Web basics: Foundational HTML, CSS and JavaScript Data: Basic SQL and an understanding of how databases store and relate data ERP & business systems: General understanding of what an ERP does (finance, billing, projects, CRM) and how business data flows between functions Business fundamentals: Basic accounting and business concepts – e.g. how revenue, costs and invoicing work Excel: Comfortable with formulas, lookups and pivot tables Problem-solving: Analytical thinking; able to break a process down into steps and logic Learning attitude: Keen to learn new tools, languages and ERP platforms AI interest: Genuine interest in AI, GenAI and automation Working style: Works independently; communicates well with technical and non-technical users 2. Nice to Have Background: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT,Information Systems, Business Analytics, Accountancy (with IT modules) orrelated Projects: Web or data projects from coursework, personalwork or internships Backend & integration: Exposure to Python or Node.js; basicfamiliarity with APIs and JSON ERP exposure: Hands-on exposure to any ERP or businesssystem (e.g. Odoo, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero) – nospecific platform required AI: Everyday use of tools such as ChatGPT,Copilot, Claude or Gemini; any experimentation with AI APIs, Copilot Studio orsimple AI assistants Tooling: Git or other version control 3. Skills Applied by Work Area Web Application Development: Building and improving simple internal tools,forms and interfaces; fixing issues ERP & Business Systems: Supporting day-to-day system use, basicconfiguration, data imports/clean-up and testing; helping evaluate and exploreother ERP platforms and how they fit the firm's needs Integration & Automation: Connecting internal toolswith ERP and Microsoft 365; automating repetitive, manual tasks AI & Emerging Technology: Trying out AI tools,writing prompts, checking AI outputs for accuracy, identifying practical usecases Professional Services Processes: Learning the firm's coreworkflows – client onboarding, engagement/project management, time recording,resourcing, billing and collections, document management and reporting – andspotting where technology and AI can help User Support & Documentation: Gathering requirements,supporting rollouts, writing simple user guides and collecting feedback 4. Soft Skills • Curiosity about how a professional servicesfirm runs day to day • Translating business needs into practical,simple technical solutions • Clear communication and documentation fornon-technical colleagues • Attention to detail when testing, handlingdata and reviewing AI outputs 5. Ideal Candidate Profile A curious, technically grounded candidate withfoundational web, SQL and Excel skills, a basic understanding of how businessesand ERP systems work, and genuine enthusiasm for AI and automation.
