Pre-School Mandarin Teacher

The Mandarin Language Teacher will be responsible for taking care of a class of young children and facilitating small group experiences within an inquiry, play-based context in the school. • Plan engaging circle time experiences and small group experiences within an inquiry, play-based context • Document children’s learning through contributions towards newsletters, class panels and children’s portfolios • Create meaningful language opportunities for children where a love for Mandarin can be promoted; • Build and maintain close partnership with parents 华文教师主要负责照看孩子，引导孩子以探索为主导，寓教于乐。 • 创造温暖、关怀及培育性的环境； • 建立分组式活动、探索为主导、娱乐为背景的教学模式； • 具有积极的团队合作力； • 保持与家长的良好沟通； • 通过校园通讯、班级告示板及儿童成长观察报告记录孩子的学习经历； • 提供积极的语言环境，激发孩子学习华文的热情。 Qualifications • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education in Teaching (Chinese language) or its equivalent • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in pre-school or childcare setting is required • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Able to work well independently as well as within a team • Required to speak, read and written in Mandarin as the candidates need to teach the students Mandarin Language. • L2 Certificate • 幼儿教育大专文凭，持有本科相关学历者优先； • 至少2年幼儿教学经验； • 普通话标准，写作规范； • 工作积极，有责任感; • L2 Certificate Location: Sentosa (Shuttle bus provided)
