Cook (Beanstro @MBS)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Carry out duties and instructions assigned by the Chef. • Follow all Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Control and maintain food quality and minimize food wastage. • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the Beanstro Café kitchen. • Follow all safety procedures and proper handling guidelines for kitchen equipment. • Prepare and fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. • Conduct quality checks on all food products before service. • Monitor freezer stock levels and report replenishment needs to the Chef. • Practice and comply with the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory management method. MAIN QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILL AND ABILITY • Experience : 1-2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced kitchen, or central kitchen environment is preferred. • Knowledge : Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and strong awareness of food hygiene practices. • Attributes : Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding work conditions (e.g., long standing hours, hot/cold temperatures). • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management abilities. Team player with good communication skills and positive attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours, day/night shift
