VP – Trade Support & Middle Office Operations Lead (1-year Contract)

About the Job • Provide primary operational oversight and desk support to commercial and trading units. • Ensure precise, same-day transaction booking and validation across core trading systems. • Direct and oversee essential responsibilities within the trade support team, including: • Monitoring deal input integrity and compliance checks. • Managing trade bookings, amendments, and cancellations per established guidelines. • Driving trade lifecycle processing, including exercises, fixings, novations, compressions, and expirations. • Leading query resolution and complex transaction issue management. • Overseeing supplemental operational responsibilities requested by upper management. • Proactively detect workflow risks and collaborate with department heads to implement stronger internal controls and process efficiencies. • Support senior management on middle-office initiatives, tool upgrades, procedure enhancements, and strategic business launches. Skills and Requirements • Proven senior-level background in trade support or middle-office operations control. • Deep knowledge of trade booking rules, life-cycle processing, and operational control frameworks. • Proven capability to identify operational vulnerabilities and implement risk controls. • Experience partnering on system rollouts, process optimization, and business expansion.
