We are looking for a Head, Engagemen t to champion and lead our engagement team across Partnerships, Fundraising, and Communications & Marketing. This isn’t a traditional fundraising role, it is about co-creating deeply meaningful, sustainable corporate and community partnerships that walk hand-in-hand with our mission.
The Role: Impact in Action
Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll serve as the strategic driver behind our outreach, partnership growth, and donor stewardship efforts.
• Partnerships & Donor Management: You’ll lead the development of strategic partnerships, cultivating long-term engagements with corporates, foundations, and institutional partners. You’ll manage our donor portfolio across multiple segments, leveraging donor insights to refine engagement strategies and personalised partner journeys. You’ll craft compelling funding proposals and presentations that resonate with our partners, oversee fundraising campaigns, and manage third-party fundraising initiatives. You’ll curate engaging volunteering opportunities for schools and corporate partners, fostering active community involvement.
• Communications & Marketing: Besides serving as our external ambassador, you’ll oversee our communications and marketing strategy and plans. You’ll also lead the team in event management, driving engagement and public awareness.
• Lead & Mentor: You’ll provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and professional development to team members, driving high performance and advancing organisational capabilities.
Who You Are
• Proven Leadership: You bring at least 6 years of progressive experience in at least some of these areas: fundraising, donor relations, corporate partnerships, sales, account management and grant management, with 2+ years leading teams or strategic projects.
• Education / Industry Experience: You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related discipline; or equivalent industry experience.
• Track Record: You have proven success in securing major gifts, leading successful multi-channel fundraising campaigns and writing winning grant proposals; proven experience managing large event budgets and high-value corporate/community partnerships.
• Master Communicator: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with a diplomatic and persuasive edge to inspire potential partnerships and stakeholders.
• Inclusion Commitment: A heart for inclusion! All staff received fully sponsored training to complete Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) Level 1.
