Procurement Executive

▎ About the Role This is a hands-on procurement role at our Singapore entity, positioned at executive to senior executive level (individual contributor, non-managerial). The role covers three core areas: Sourcing, Procurement Master Data, and Purchase Operations. It complements our Guangzhou procurement team and is closer to the local and regional supply market and cross-border import process. We manage several hundred standardised SKUs under an established procurement process and supplier network. What we now need is to systemise our procurement data — cost prices, suppliers, MOQ and lead times — and to keep improving cost and supply terms. This is not a purely transactional role: we need someone who maintains data accuracy and delivery reliability while proactively identifying better sourcing options. You will work with local suppliers and logistics partners, our Guangzhou operations team and regional suppliers, covering the full chain from sourcing and negotiation to purchase orders, cross-border import and receipt reconciliation. ▎Key Responsibilities Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify, assess and develop suppliers; obtain the best pricing and commercial terms through RFQ, price comparison and negotiation; continuously optimise the supplier matrix (primary and backup). Procurement Master Data: Maintain SKU-level master data — cost prices, supplier information, MOQ, lead times and payment terms — ensuring accuracy, timeliness and consistency; produce regular procurement reports (order volume, fulfilment rate, purchase cost, savings) to support management decisions. Purchase Operations: Raise and track purchase orders based on demand from operations and business teams; confirm delivery; handle delivery delays, quantity discrepancies, quality and invoicing issues to ensure no stock-out of critical SKUs. Cross-border Import & Logistics: Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics providers on export clearance, import clearance, duties and GST documentation and compliance; support logistics option comparison for efficient, compliant inbound receipt. Cost Optimisation: Build and maintain an SKU-level price database; monitor price gaps between procurement bases and market movements; propose cost reduction and alternative sourcing plans and track their delivery. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, warehouse and finance on demand response and delivery alignment; coordinate with the Guangzhou procurement team and regional suppliers. Others: Other duties assigned by the Company and Management. ▎Requirements Essential · Education: Diploma or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business English or a related discipline. · Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on procurement or supply chain experience (FMCG, cross-border e-commerce or trading preferred). Candidates with 4+ years and verifiable independent sourcing and negotiation experience may be considered for a senior/supervisory title. · Languages: Bilingual in English and Mandarin. Able to read and draft purchase contracts and supplier correspondence in English, and to communicate daily with our Guangzhou team in Mandarin. · Tools: Proficient in Excel (data management, VLOOKUP, pivot tables); experience with an ERP or procurement system (e.g. SAP, Odoo, Kingdee) is an advantage. · Work eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in Singapore. Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and holders of a valid work pass are all welcome to apply. The Company will support work pass applications for eligible candidates in accordance with MOM requirements. Preferred · Verifiable sourcing results (cost reduction, improved payment or supply terms, exclusive supply). · Hands-on experience importing goods into Singapore (freight forwarding, customs clearance, duties and GST). · Familiarity with Southeast Asian supplier markets (Singapore, Malaysia). · Experience maintaining SKU-level master data; Power BI or advanced Excel for procurement analysis. ▎What We Look For · Detail-oriented and data-sensitive — procurement data directly affects our margin, and "close enough" is not acceptable. · Strong execution — our SKUs and procurement processes are highly structured; we need someone who executes established processes reliably and efficiently. · Proactive communication — flag delivery exceptions or unclear information early instead of waiting. · Integrity — transparency and probity in procurement protect the Company's reputation; we look for long-term partners with aligned values. · Self-improvement — our procurement system is still being built; you are both an executor and a builder. ▎Employment Terms & Benefits · Employment type: Full-time, permanent. · Work location: Singapore. · Working hours: Monday to Friday, office hours; 44 hours per week in accordance with the Employment Act. · Probation period: 3 months. · Salary: SGD 3,500 – 5,500 per month (fixed monthly salary, exclusive of CPF). CPF contributions apply to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents in accordance with the CPF Act. · Annual leave: 14 days per annum, in addition to public holidays under the Employment Act. · Medical benefits and AWS (13th-month payment) in accordance with Company policy. · Performance incentive linked to procurement cost-saving outcomes.
