Accounts Manager

Job Responsibilities • Oversee daily finance operations, including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, cashflow, management, month-end closing and payroll processing. • Ensure the accuracy and timely preparation of financial reports, including audited finance statements, GST returns and income tax returns. • Manage consolidation and preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, budgets and forecasts, cost control. • Establish a financial analysis procedure and model, and report financial status to Management regularly. • Maintain project-wise accounting records and cost allocations. • Review work-in-progress (WIP) reports and project status reports. • Attend to government surveys and audit queries. • Liaise and communicate with banks, customers, suppliers, auditors, tax authorities and regulatory agencies and internal related departments. • Prepare project capital plan and ensure proper cash flow and allocation of funds, as well as managing capital risks. • Ensuring compliance with current accounting standards and company policies. • Assist in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements • Bachelor' degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CA is preferred. • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and account management (preferably in the Construction Industry) including supervisory or managerial experience. • Familiar with Singapore's financial policies, corporate financial regulations/procedures and proficient in relevant financial and tax laws/regulations. • Meticulous, independent and a good interpersonal skill. • Able to take responsibility and being accountable. • Good organization, coordination, communication skills and teamwork spirit, have strong sense of responsibility.
