Senior Trade Operation Executive (Oil Trading / LC ) AL70

• Execute and manage physical oil trading operations, including inventory management, cargo discharge and delivery activities. • Ensure accurate and timely capture of trade and deal information in the company’s trading system/books. • Prepare and review sales and purchase contracts, ensuring all contractual terms and documentation are completed accurately with counterparties. • Coordinate closely with suppliers, terminals and relevant parties on vessel clearance, loading schedules and cargo movements. • Liaise with surveyors, load port agents and other service providers to monitor cargo readiness, loading operations and vessel movements. • Monitor and manage demurrage claims, secondary costs and related operational expenses, including calculation, verification and payment coordination. • Prepare and submit cargo insurance declarations based on shipment and cargo details. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date trade, shipping and operational documentation and filing records. • Monitor the overall progress of physical cargo movements and promptly follow up on any operational issues or discrepancies. • Perform other ad hoc duties and operational responsibilities as assigned by the Manager. Requirement • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Oil Trading Operations / Chartering / Physical Oil Trading. • Candidates with experience in field oil operations or vessel chartering are a MUST. • Experience in commodity trading is highly preferred. • Good understanding of physical cargo operations, including vessel nomination, loading/discharge, cargo movements and terminal coordination. • Familiar with sales & purchase contracts, trade documentation, demurrage claims and cargo insurance. • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with suppliers, terminals, surveyors, agents and counterparties.
