Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The successful candidate will support both Quantity Surveying and Project Management/Coordination duties. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in quantity take-off, cost estimation, quotations and tender preparation. • Prepare and review progress claims, variation orders (VO), subcontractor claims and final accounts. • Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial matters. • Assist with contract administration and project documentation. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. • Support project planning, progress monitoring and day-to-day project management. • Attend site/project meetings and follow up on outstanding project matters. • Assist the Project Manager in ensuring projects are completed according to schedule, cost and contractual requirements. • Perform other QS and project coordination duties as required. Requirements: • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related discipline. • Relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry is preferred. • Good knowledge of quantity surveying, costing, claims and construction project coordination. • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams. • Candidate must currently be based in Singapore. • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PR) will be given priority consideration.
