Company Overview The client specializes in sales and distribution of elevator and escalator parts and components, including installation and replacement services. Job Summary You will install and maintain lift systems, perform routine mechanical and electrical checks, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure safety compliance through load tests and audits. Responsibilities • Install lift systems, including machinery, car frames, and control wiring to ensure operational functionality • Perform routine inspections and maintenance by oiling and greasing moving parts and replacing worn components to prevent breakdowns • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions to restore equipment performance • Conduct load tests and safety audits to verify equipment compliance with safety standards • Maintain accurate logs of inspections, repairs, and parts used for record-keeping and compliance • Handle and lift heavy parts safely to support installation and maintenance tasks • Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands and deadlines Preferred competencies and qualifications • NITEC in vertical transportation, Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering • Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering is an advantage
