BIM Modeler

Job Summary To develop, manage, coordinate and maintain high-quality 3D digital models and generate accurate 2D documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role is responsible for ensuring that all BIM models and digital assets comply with project requirements, BIM standards, the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and applicable ISO 19650 protocols. The role will support design, coordination, construction and operational activities by providing accurate and reliable BIM information, while actively leveraging digital and AI technologies to improve productivity, automate repetitive processes and enhance project delivery. ## Key Responsibilities ### 1. BIM Modelling & Model Management - Create, develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using appropriate BIM authoring software. - Manage and maintain BIM models throughout all project delivery stages. - Ensure model content, geometry and information are accurate, complete and aligned with the project requirements. - Attribute model elements with accurate and relevant data to support 3D, 4D and 5D BIM applications. - Organise models by work zones, locations and required project parameters. - Oversee the day-to-day use of Revit and other BIM software to ensure the integrity and quality of project models. ### 2. BIM Coordination & Clash Detection - Coordinate BIM activities across multiple disciplines and project stakeholders. - Develop and maintain federated models by integrating information from various disciplines. - Perform clash detection and coordination using tools such as Navisworks. - Identify, track and support the resolution of interdisciplinary clashes and coordination issues prior to site execution. - Participate in and contribute to design, coordination and BIM meetings. - Coordinate with the BIM Manager, BIM Coordinators, designers, consultants, contractors and other relevant project stakeholders. ### 3. BIM Documentation & Deliverables - Generate accurate 2D drawings, schedules and quantity take-offs directly from BIM models. - Produce project delivery outputs and documentation in accordance with government, client and appointing party requirements. - Check and validate drawings, models and other BIM outputs for accuracy, completeness and compliance. - Ensure BIM deliverables are produced in accordance with the agreed project requirements and submission standards. ### 4. BIM Standards & Compliance - Ensure all BIM models and deliverables comply with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project BIM standards and applicable ISO 19650 requirements. - Ensure appropriate model status, information parameters and document control requirements are maintained. - Monitor and manage changes requested by the technical team and ensure all updates are properly incorporated into the relevant models. - Maintain model integrity and ensure information remains current throughout the project lifecycle. ### 5. Digitalisation & AI Productivity - Actively utilise AI tools and digital technologies to automate repetitive tasks and improve daily productivity. - Identify opportunities to digitalise and streamline BIM workflows and project processes. - Experiment with emerging digital solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy and quality of BIM outputs. - Participate in relevant upskilling and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance AI and digital capabilities. ### 6. Quality, Safety & Other Responsibilities - Ensure compliance with all applicable Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental requirements related to the job scope and workplace. - Maintain a high level of accuracy, quality and attention to detail in all BIM-related deliverables. - Work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities. - Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time. Qualifications - Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, M&E Engineering, Building Information Modelling, Construction, or a related discipline. - Advanced proficiency in BIM software, particularly **Autodesk Revit and Navisworks**. - Good understanding of BIM concepts, workflows and information management. - In-depth knowledge of BIM standards and principles, including **ISO 19650**. - Knowledge of BIM model authoring, coordination and information management processes. Skills & Abilities - Strong ability to develop, manage and coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models. - Proficient in creating and maintaining federated models across multiple disciplines. - Strong understanding of BIM coordination and clash detection processes. - Ability to review and validate BIM model content against project scope and requirements. - Ability to generate drawings, schedules and quantity information from BIM models. - Good understanding of model status, information parameters and change management. - Strong coordination and communication skills with BIM and project stakeholders. - Ability to work collaboratively and contribute effectively during design and coordination meetings. - Strong attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. - Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with the wider project team. - Proactive mindset towards digital experimentation, automation and AI productivity tools. - Proficiency in **Google Workspace (GWS)** is an added advantage. Expected Minimum Years of Experience - Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. - Previous internship experience in drafting, 3D modelling, BIM or the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry is an added advantage. - Candidates with relevant working experience in BIM modelling and coordination will be an advantage.
