Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse, logistics, shipping, and delivery activities. • Oversee the transportation of products from one location to another, including movement between loading docks, warehouses, stores, and customers. • Arrange product pickups and deliveries with transportation companies and coordinate driver routing when required. • Conduct cost analysis of transportation providers to identify cost-effective and reliable shipping options. • Communicate and coordinate with trucking companies, warehouse personnel, customs brokers, sales teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers. • Ensure shipments are properly packed, dispatched, and delivered accurately and within the required timeline. • Obtain shipping quotations from transportation providers and select suitable carriers based on cost, availability, and reliability. • Understand customer requirements and manage inventory according to operational needs. • Analyse product orders and monitor stock requirements to maintain sufficient inventory levels. • Coordinate product replenishment and reordering when required. • Supervise the daily activities and performance of the warehouse/logistics team. • Set work priorities and allocate tasks to ensure timely completion. • Monitor employees and provide appropriate guidance and supervision. • Ensure warehouse and logistics activities comply with established company policies and procedures. • Resolve day-to-day warehouse and operational issues according to established procedures. • Train team members and provide input for employee performance evaluations.
