Inventory Management
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Cambridge IGCSE Physical Education lessons in line with relevant CAIE syllabuses (0413) and practical curriculum requirements.
- Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, learning resources, and practical assessment materials aligned with Cambridge standards.
- Teach students key theoretical concepts—such as anatomy and physiology, movement analysis, training principles, and sports psychology—alongside practical skill execution.
- Encourage students to develop physical literacy, tactical awareness, health-related fitness, teamwork, and fair play through active participation and sportsmanship.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on student physical progress and theoretical understanding, providing constructive feedback and communicating regularly with parents.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages movement, healthy habits, personal resilience, and lifelong engagement in physical activity.
- Support and contribute to school events, including Sports Days, athletic meets, intra-school tournaments, outdoor education trips, and other co-curricular initiatives.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum integration, practical moderation, cross-departmental fitness initiatives, and whole-school health events.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, fitness assessments, practical activity scores, and overall academic progress.
- Ensure proper maintenance, safety inspections, and inventory management of all sports equipment, facilities, and physical education areas.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, professional development workshops (including Cambridge PD), and school events as required.
