Purchasing Assistant

1. Procurement & Sourcing - Source and evalute suppliers for food, beverage, (Halal certified suppliers). - Ensure all purchased goods meet required quality and safety standards. - Request and compare quotations to ensure best value for money. - Maintain a supplier database with updated price lists, contacts and performance records. 2. Order Management - Prepare purchased orders and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods. - Monitor stock levels and coordinate with kitchen teams to avoid shortages or overstocking. - Verify quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders and invoices. 3. Cost Control Budgeting - Support management in monitoring and analyzing food cost, cost of goods sold (COGS and monthly purchasing reports). - Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternative suppliers or products. - Ensure purchasing practices align with company cost-control policies. 4. Compliance & Documentation - Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies, hygiene standards, and local regulations for Halal ingredients. - Maintain proper documentation for all purchase-related activities including invoices, contracts, and delivery orders. 6.Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery terms with suppliers.
