PURCHASING ASSISTANT

Job Responsibilities: - Assist in the purchasing of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and other company requirements. - Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers. - Obtain quotations and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms from suppliers. - Follow up with suppliers regarding orders, delivery schedules, and outstanding items. - Maintain and update supplier records, price lists, and purchasing documents. - Check Purchase Requisitions (PR), invoices, delivery orders, and other related documents. - Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Accounts, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements. - Monitor stock levels and assist in ensuring sufficient materials are available. - Assist in evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery performance. - Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures and policies. - Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned by the superior. Job Requirements: - Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related field. - Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement. - Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and AutoCount & Maps systems. - Able to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and able to meet deadlines. - Experience in manufacturing or food industry is an added advantage. - Training will provided. - Mandarin speaker will be advantage.
