Equipment Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities Equipment Installation & Commissioning Perform machine installation, setup, alignment, calibration, and commissioning activities at customer facilities. Execute Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) protocols according to engineering specifications. Validate machine performance against design and process requirements. Support machine buy-off activities and customer acceptance processes. Technical Troubleshooting & Corrective Maintenance Diagnose and resolve complex machine issues involving: Servo motors and motion control systems Pneumatic and vacuum systems Industrial sensors and actuators Electrical control systems PLC-controlled equipment Machine vision and inspection systems Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Analyze equipment logs, alarms, and performance data to identify failure patterns. Preventive Maintenance & Reliability Improvement Execute preventive maintenance schedules and machine health assessments. Recommend reliability improvements to reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine stability and productivity. Customer Technical Support Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers. Respond promptly to machine downtime and critical production issues. Prepare detailed service reports, technical findings, and corrective action recommendations. Build strong customer relationships through effective technical communication. Process & Equipment Optimization Support process engineers in machine tuning, parameter optimization, and production qualification. Analyze process capability and equipment performance metrics. Collaborate with R&D, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges. Documentation & Training Develop and maintain technical documentation, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, and service reports. Conduct equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting training for customers and internal teams. Ensure all service documentation complies with company quality standards.
