COMMERCIAL & SALES ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES • Directly reporting to Branch Manager. • Support sales and business development activities, including identifying potential clients and project opportunities. • Attend site visits and meetings at client premises when required. • Prepare quotations, cost estimates and commercial proposals for projects and enquiries. • Assist in preparing tender and quotation documents covering technical and commercial requirements. • Liaise with clients and suppliers regarding enquiries, quotations, pricing and project requirements. • Source and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations to support competitive costing. • Assist in price negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors. • Follow up on quotations, tenders and sales opportunities. • Prepare weekly and monthly sales/commercial updates and reports. • Support the team in other sales, commercial and project-related activities as required. REQUIREMENT • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent. • Fresh graduates with strong interest in sales and commercial work are encouraged to apply. • Preferably 1–3 years of relevant working experience in engineering, sales, commercial, costing or project execution. • Advantage for candidates with experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Engineering or Construction environment. • Passionate and interested in sales, business development and commercial activities. • Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. • Good written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English. • Basic understanding of costing, quotation and tender preparation is an advantage. • Able to work independently as well as in a team. • Positive attitude, hardworking, responsible and willing to learn. • Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. OTHERS • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and AutoCAD is an advantage. • Possess own transport and valid driving licence. • Willing to attend site visits and travel outstation when required. • Oil & Gas Safety Passport is an advantage. • Immediate availability / short notice period is preferred.
