Assistant Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities Assist in managing the day-to-day branch operations, including cash handling, deposits, and adherence to security procedures. Verify transactions, perform reconciliations, and conduct stock checks for gold and diamond items. Support branch sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, and monitor branch performance to achieve business targets. Supervise, coach, and motivate branch staff while monitoring performance and providing on-the-job training. Deliver excellent customer service by building strong customer relationships and resolving complaints professionally. Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements. Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate branch documentation. Requirements SPM/O-Level with 3–4 years of experience in retail, financial services, or Islamic pawn broking; OR Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with relevant supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience in gold and diamond valuation or branch operations is an added advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
