Supervisor (Lapisan at Mid Valley Southkey)

Job Responsibilities - Assist the Café Manager in managing daily café operations efficiently. - Lead, supervise and motivate the team to provide excellent customer service. - Ensure compliance with company SOP, QSC standards, food quality and service standards. - Monitor customer satisfaction and handle customer requests and complaints professionally. - Conduct daily staff briefing and provide on-the-job training and coaching. - Monitor staff performance, grooming, discipline and attendance. - Assist with staff scheduling and manpower arrangement when required. - Ensure all food and beverage orders are prepared and served according to SOP. - Monitor cash handling, daily paperwork and administrative requirements. - Assist in inventory and stock management, including minimizing wastage, breakage, pilferage and variance. - Ensure outlet cleanliness, housekeeping and mise-en-place are maintained at all times. - Follow up on operational issues and corrective actions. - Support the Café Manager in achieving sales targets and controlling costs. - Take charge of the outlet in the absence of the Café Manager. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements / Skills - Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent. - Previous experience in café/restaurant operations or a supervisory role is preferred. - Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills. - Able to supervise, train and motivate a team. - Responsible, disciplined and able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Chinese candidates are preferred. - Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
