Senior Workday Benefits & SAP HRIS Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities As Senior Workday Benefits & SAP HRIS Specialist, you will take hands-on ownership of Workday Benefits configuration and support, with an initial focus on the US benefits population. You will work across HR Solutions, HR Operations, benefits stakeholders, IT, integration teams and external partners in a global matrix organization. You will be expected to assess the existing design quickly, work independently and become productive with limited onboarding. •Own and maintain Workday Benefits configuration, including eligibility rules, benefit plans, coverage levels, enrollment events, evidence requirements and related business processes. •Provide expert production support by diagnosing complex configuration, data, security, integration and process issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions. •Lead configuration changes through requirements analysis, solution design, build, testing, documentation and deployment. •Translate benefits policy and regulatory requirements into scalable Workday solutions while protecting global design standards. •Assess downstream and cross-system impacts between Workday, SAP and connected HR, payroll, finance and vendor solutions. •Apply strong SAP architecture and configuration knowledge to analyze organizational structures, master data, data flows, interfaces, dependencies and transition requirements. •Coordinate across global, regional and local stakeholders in a complex matrix, driving decisions and clarifying ownership across teams. •Plan and perform end-to-end and regression testing, resolve defects and produce clear evidence for controlled releases. •Monitor data quality and recurring issues, improving configuration, controls and support processes. •Provide practical knowledge transfer and documentation so solutions remain supportable across the global HR Solutions organization. What You Need to Succeed •Substantial hands-on Workday experience, with proven configuration expertise in Workday Benefits. Experience limited to Workday usage, coordination or general HRIS support is not sufficient for this role. •Demonstrated ability to configure, test, troubleshoot and support Workday independently, including tenant structure, business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields and release practices. •Very solid SAP background, including practical understanding of SAP architecture, configuration principles, organizational structures, master data, interfaces and system dependencies. SAP HCM or equivalent HR-focused SAP experience is strongly preferred. •Experience in a large global organization with a complex matrix operating model, collaborating across countries, regions, functions, shared services, IT teams and external providers. •Proven ability to assess unfamiliar configurations quickly, understand existing design logic and deliver with high independence from the start. •Strong analytical capability and the ability to trace system behavior across configuration, process, data, security and integrations. •Experience with benefits administration and US benefits processes is strongly preferred. •Confident stakeholder management, including the ability to challenge unclear requirements, recommend robust solutions and drive decisions across organizational boundaries. •Excellent written and spoken English. Chinese language capability is a strong advantage for collaboration and knowledge transfer with relevant regional stakeholders. •Availability to start immediately or at the earliest possible date.
