Project Manager (Telco)

The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives that transform strategic objectives into measurable business outcomes. This role oversees the end-to-end planning, execution, governance, and delivery of business transformation, digitalisation, system implementation, and finance transformation projects across the Group. Working closely with business leaders, technology teams, finance, and external partners, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the Company's strategic priorities. The role bridges business requirements with technical implementation while driving operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Project & Product Planning • Define project vision, objectives, and roadmaps aligned with the Company's strategic business goals. • Identify business opportunities through market analysis, customer feedback, and operational assessments. • Develop comprehensive project plans, implementation schedules, SOPs, governance frameworks, and resource plans. • Prioritise initiatives based on business value, ROI, technical feasibility, risk, and organisational capacity. • Support the evaluation and implementation of new digital solutions and technologies to improve business performance. 2. Project Delivery & Transformation • Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and implementation plans. • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure smooth execution throughout the project lifecycle. • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource utilisation. • Drive successful adoption of new systems and business processes through structured implementation and change management. 3. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership • Serve as the central coordination point between business units, technology teams, finance, vendors, and external consultants. • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment across all project stakeholders. • Build strong working relationships to drive consensus, resolve conflicts, and maintain project momentum. • Manage stakeholder expectations by providing clear communication on project scope, risks, dependencies, and business impact. • Present project updates, dashboards, and executive reports to senior management. 5. Governance, Risk & Change Management • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, reporting structures, documentation standards, and approval processes. • Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. • Develop mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues where necessary. • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, security standards, and project governance requirements. • Maintain project documentation, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews. 6. Team Leadership • Assemble, lead, and manage cross-functional project teams. • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to project members. • Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Allocate project resources effectively to maximise productivity and successful delivery. 7. Business Performance & Continuous Improvement • Measure project success against defined business KPIs and strategic objectives. • Track benefits realisation and post-implementation outcomes. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and business innovation. • Promote best practices in project management, business transformation, and digital delivery across the organisation. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing enterprise-level projects, business transformation, ERP/system implementation, or finance transformation initiatives. • Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent is an added advantage. • Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects. • Strong understanding of finance operations, digital transformation, business process improvement, and change management is highly desirable.
