About the Role
The Associate Director, Innovation & Technology Strategy will serve as a senior leader responsible for driving enterprise-level innovation and technology strategies. This role demands exceptional strategic leadership to harness advanced and emerging technologies enabling business growth, operational efficiencies, and the establishment of an innovation culture within the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Innovation & Technology Strategy Development and Execution
• Define and implement the enterprise innovation roadmap aligned with corporate objectives and market trends.
• Work with technology leadership team define, strategize and track the technology strategic plan
• Leverage cutting-edge technologies not limiting to artificial intelligence to develop innovative policies, processes, and products that drive business growth.
• Foster partnerships with technology providers, startups, and academic institutions for innovation opportunities.
• Lead future of work across technology pillars to drive operational efficiency
2. Innovation Squad
• Lead cross-functional team in the planning, execution, and delivery of new ideation to proof of concept in an agile manner that leads to business operationalizing and scaling up to production
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including C level executive management, operational teams, Group Office counterparts, and external partners, to drive alignment and shared goals.
• Communicate program progress, innovation outcomes, and business impacts effectively to diverse audiences.
4. Change Management and Cultural Transformation
• Champion an innovation-focused culture across the organization that encourages creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
• Actively contribute to workforce upskilling in technology, analytics, AI, and innovation methodologies.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum 12-15 years of technology delivery and/or technology consulting with people management capacity.
• Lead and provide guidance and supervision to a team of Product Managers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Engineers.
• Plan and manage end-to-end delivery and work assignments within the team.
• Excellent skills in business user engagement and stakeholder management with senior leadership and c-level executives
• Experienced in engaging business stakeholders for problem statement and ideation discussions
• Good skills in developing strategic stories and presentations
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Domain proficiency in insurance business and its operations including distribution channels modus operandi is essential.
• Able to work independently and highly self-motivated.
• Able to work with peers and other stakeholders, a team player.
