Job Description:
Set the APJ sales enablement strategy and lead complex, end-to-end initiatives that translate business priorities into measurable field readiness, seller behavior change, and stronger sales execution across diverse markets.
Position Summary
The APJ Sales Enablement Lead is a strategic leader responsible for defining and executing the regional enablement agenda in close partnership with APJ sales leadership and global stakeholders. This role owns the full lifecycle of high-impact enablement programs, from needs diagnosis and strategy through design, localization, launch, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will combine executive presence, commercial acumen, and disciplined program leadership to improve readiness across sellers, leaders, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and evolve the APJ sales enablement strategy, roadmap, and operating rhythm, aligning priorities to regional business goals, growth plays, pipeline needs, and key performance indicators.
• Act as a trusted advisor to APJ sales leaders, translating business challenges and field insights into focused enablement priorities, investment recommendations, and executive-ready plans.
• Lead complex, cross-functional enablement initiatives end to end: diagnose performance needs; define outcomes and audiences; design the solution; mobilize stakeholders; execute at scale; drive adoption; and measure business impact.
• Build integrated readiness plans for product launches, go-to-market initiatives, portfolio transitions, strategic sales motions, and priority customer segments across APJ.
• Embed recognized sales methodologies and common sales language into enablement experiences, including MEDDPICC, Strategic Selling, opportunity qualification, account planning, value selling, discovery, and executive engagement.
• Adapt global programs for APJ while protecting strategic intent and quality, accounting for market maturity, seller roles, routes to market, cultural context, language, and country-specific requirements.
• Leverage modern learning approaches and enablement technology, including AI-enabled role plays, simulations, virtual learning, digital reinforcement, and performance support, to increase reach and application.
• Partner across global enablement, regional marketing, product and solution teams, sales operations, specialists, direct sales, channel teams, and other stakeholders to deliver coordinated programs and avoid fragmented field experiences.
• Define success measures and evaluation plans at program inception; use quantitative data, qualitative feedback, adoption signals, and field performance indicators to assess effectiveness and guide investment decisions.
• Create executive-level updates that clearly communicate strategy, progress, outcomes, risks, and leadership actions required; confidently facilitate discussions with senior sales and business leaders and present at leaders QBRs.
• Serve as the voice of the APJ field to global teams, identifying recurring capability gaps, competitive needs, customer trends, and execution barriers, and influencing global priorities and solution design.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of progressive experience in sales enablement, field enablement, enterprise sales, product marketing, learning and development, or related go-to-market roles, with demonstrated leadership of strategic, multi-market initiatives.
• Proven success developing enablement strategy and leading large, complex programs from business diagnosis through execution, adoption, measurement, and optimization.
• Good understanding of enterprise sales motions and major sales methodologies; experience applying MEDDPICC and Strategic Selling in enablement, coaching, opportunity management, or sales execution.
• Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect enablement investments to sales priorities, seller behaviors, customer outcomes, and measurable business impact.
• Executive presence and exceptional communication skills, including the ability to advise, influence, and gain alignment with senior sales leaders and cross-functional executives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a global, matrixed organization and to orchestrate diverse stakeholders across functions, geographies, cultures, and time zones.
• Strong analytical capability and experience defining outcome-based metrics, interpreting performance data, synthesizing field feedback, and presenting clear recommendations to leadership.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities and high visibility.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the high-technology sector, ideally supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud, security, data center, or AI-related solutions.
