IT Business Partner (College of Engineering)

About the Role Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a research-intensive university ranked among the world’s top institutions. We are seeking an IT Business Partner for the College of Engineering (CoE) to work closely with leadership to coordinate, develop, and guide all IT activities in the five Schools (i.e., departments within CoE). This person will also work with Central IT support. We are looking for someone with an excellent IT foundation and can work across different teams . We are open to candidates at different stages of their leadership journey, and value potential, attitude and the ability to grow into the breadth of the role . Key Responsibilities • Lead the College of Engineering IT division. • Identify the IT needs at the College and School and develop solutions to these needs. • Work with the University’s IT team to understand the needs at the central level and to develop strategies to incorporate central’s IT initiative to the College and School if it fits the needs. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. A Master’s degree would be an advantage. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT, technology or related roles, with a solid foundation and practical understanding of IT environments, systems and technology solutions. • Has hands-on experience in dealing with IT activities. • Has some experience in managing teams and activities. • Excellent organizational skills. • Structural thinking would be a good skill for this position. • Have worked in teams that have built IT structure and strategy.
