Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Veterinary Technology)

[What the role is] Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Veterinary Technology) [What you will be working on] • Design, develop, review, and deliver Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes (both full qualifications and short courses) in veterinary–related disciplines such as animal care, veterinary nursing, animal behaviour and training. • Develop training materials, including lesson plans, slides, assessments, and practical guides • Identify emerging industry trends and opportunities to develop new CET courses and programmes • Adopt innovative and learner-centric teaching methodologies, including blended and experiential learning approaches • Design and develop e-learning content, including microlearning modules • Monitor and evaluate course satisfaction and performance • Implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes and participant experience • Coordinate pre-semester planning, including timetabling, resource allocation, and course setup • Support course promotion activities [What we are looking for] • Qualification in veterinary technology/veterinary nursing or its equivalent from recognised institutions. • At least 3 to 8 years of relevant industrial experience in a vet clinic/animal hospital. • Familiar with ‘Day One Competences’ for Veterinary Nurses. • Have a passion for developing talents, and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths and adult learners. • Resourceful and able to work independently to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated capacity to work within a team. • Able to work in the evenings for night classes
