Job Description Role Summary/Purpose: T he Regional P r o g r am M a n a g e r will be responsible for d ev e l o pi n g , sc o pi n g , pl a n n i n g , a nd adequately executing medium to m a j or c o n s tru c t i on pro j e c ts (ie. Retrofits, Greenfield & Brownfield) ra n g i ng i n sc o p e fr om SGD S$5 m illi on and above , a s w e l l as m u l t i p l e s m a ll er p r o j e c t s at non-strategic locations , in single or accumulated amounts. T he Regional P r o g r am M a n a g e r w il l report to the UOB Group CRES Program Management Office (PMO) Lead. T he ro l e req ui r es c o mm u ni c at i on of i d e as a n d req ui r e m e n ts to a l l l e v e l s as w e l l as great pre s e n ta ti on s k i l l s . Pr ima r y R e sp o nsibilities: • Responsible for the ASEAN / ASIA strategic countries mainly Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China, specifically Vietnam, leading in execution program & projects in the global, with relevant industry project mgt '101' execution mindset reference to UOB Tollgate & UOB RPP policy. And other non-strategic countries such as New York, Syndey and other smaller countries. • Responsible for operating an integrated program & project delivery, accordance to the developed ‘Tollgates’ Flow-Chart & SOP / ‘Playbook’, across the team and setting up further processes to better meet the objectives of the Group CRES. • Work with the various teams within the Corporate Real Estate Services functions to ensure the diverse activities on Programs & Projects that are managed and directed to meet Group CRES targets. • Manage & create effective communication with internal stakeholders and external parties for every project and p r o v i d e l e a d e rs h i p, g ui d a n c e a nd d i r e c t i on to f u l f il l business g o a l s & objectives. • Cha m p i on of s a f ety, i n pl a n n i ng pro j e c t s , s u p p li er s e l e c t i on ( i n c l u d ing d e s i g n ers, consultants, co n tra c tor s and suppliers) , a nd exe c ut i on of pro j e c t s. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability, health and safety and wellness requirements into the various programs & projects within the Group CRES e.g. construction projects, office and branches fit outs and facilities management in a commercial building, with the Landlord’s perspective • Collaborate base building Green Mark certification in relevant Projects in Singapore and across to the region. • L e ad e f f ort to i d e nt i f y & develop project parameters with t h e b u s i n e s s re q u i r e m e n ts , based on technical aspect a n d a l o n g w i th the o u t li ne re q u i r e m e n ts of t h e p r o j e c ts, to l e a d t he teams i n t he t e c h ni c al p l a n n i ng of pro j e c t s , a n d d o c u m e n t th e m i n a n e x e c ut a b l e a nd m e a s urab l e f or m at. • Id e nt i f y pro j e c t o b j e c t iv es a n d d e v e l op pl a n s a n d e x e c ut i on s trat e g i es t h at w il l b e s t a c h i e v e p r o j e c ts’ deliverables , effectively re v i ew s trat e gy w i th UOB b u s i n e s s s ta k e h o l d e r s f or c o n c ur r e n c e a nd ac c e p ta n c e. • L e ad e f f ort to d ev e l op a n d i m p l e m e n t a r i s k ‘culture’ within teams & re v i ew s trat e gy to m a n a g e UOB’s r i s k i n t he areas of E n v i r o n m e n ta l , He al th, & S a f ety ( E H S ) , c o s t, s c h e d ul e, q u a li t y , a nd c o n s tru c t i on c l a i m s t h r o u g h o u t t h e p r o j e c t cycle . • Ut ili z e & build neutral p a r tn e r ships w ho are a p a r t o f the industries’ n et w ork i n t he p l a n n i n g , d ev e l o p m e n t, a nd (as re q u i r e d) e x e c ut i on of the pro j e c t s . • Lead & de v e l op t h e i n i t i al project un d er s ta n d i ng of pro j e c t m il e s to n es a n d a ss o c i at e d s c h e d ul e & e s t i m at e d c o s t f or Pro j e c t.
