They aim to provide effective, science-backed healthy aging solutions to anyone who wants to feel invigorated, vibrant, and youthful. Our client has been selling our products to thousands of health enthusiasts across the world already. Backed by strong investors, they are working on making the company a global household name in healthy aging. Join our client as they shape the emerging longevity space, fostering healthier, longer lives!
The Role
Our client is looking for a self-driven, highly motivated individual to join their Strategy and Venture Development team. Working closely with their founders and a wide range of stakeholders, you'll drive high-priority projects across investor relations, fundraising and new ventures.
As a lean, fast-moving startup, our client needs someone who can own projects end to end, from ideation through to execution and maintenance. Priorities can shift quickly, so you'll bring both rigor and agility, and the proactiveness to judge what needs to be done and when, without waiting to be told.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
• Investor relations & fundraising: Support fundraising end to end, from building the equity story and investor materials (pitch decks, data rooms, financial models) to managing the investor pipeline, follow-ups and ongoing investor reporting.
• High-priority projects: Drive cross-functional strategic projects set by leadership, structuring ambiguous problems, building the analysis, aligning stakeholders and seeing recommendations through to implementation.
• New markets & ventures: Research and evaluate new market and venture opportunities, covering market sizing, competitive landscape, regulatory considerations, and channel and partner options, and turn them into actionable go-to-market plans.
• Financial modelling: Build and maintain robust financial models and business cases (P&L, unit economics, scenario and sensitivity analysis) to support investment, expansion and venture decisions.
• Performance tracking: Define and track the KPIs that matter most to leadership and investors, turning large datasets from across the business into clear insights and recommendations.
What Success Looks Like in Your First 6 Months
In your first 6 months, you'll be measured on two core outcomes:
• A restructured investor relations & fundraising framework: You've rebuilt how our client presents itself to investors, establishing a set of key metrics that let investors benchmark our client against comparable growth startups, and a compelling, data-backed growth story for the business.
• New market expansion, ready for decision: You've completed in-depth research on priority new markets and developed a clear go-to-market strategy for them, backed by a robust financial model that leadership can use to make investment decisions.
Our client is looking for a proactive all-rounder who blends analytical rigor with strong business acumen.
• Based in Malaysia and able to work in office 3 days per week.
• 1-2 years of consulting experience (management, strategy, transaction advisory or similar), with exposure to a broad range of business problems.
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or a related analytical field.
• A true all-rounder with strong business acumen , equally comfortable building a financial model, crafting an investor narrative and getting stuck into execution.
• Data-driven mindset with a strong analytical background ; comfortable building and working with large, complex data models (expect heavy use of Microsoft Excel).
• Clear, structured communicator in English, able to turn complex analysis into compelling storylines and presentations for senior leadership and investors.
• You are proactive, highly independent, and thrive in a startup environment where you can identify opportunities and take ownership without waiting for a playbook.
• Passion for health, wellness, and longevity (or the eagerness to dive deep into the field).
