Good at both Korean and Chinese? Put your language skills to work!
Kaya by Chemin is looking for Korean + Mandarin/Traditional Chinese speakers to join an ongoing Translation Quality Review project for e-commerce content.
You’ll work as a translation auditor, checking whether an existing Traditional Chinese translation correctly reflects the original Korean content.
The best part? You’re not translating everything from scratch. You’ll mainly review, compare, and spot any issues using the provided guidelines.
What You’ll Do
• Read the original Korean product content
• Compare it with the Traditional Chinese translation
• Check whether the meaning and information are accurately translated
• Identify any translation issues or errors
• Check wording, fluency, and whether the Chinese sounds natural
• Categorise any issues according to the provided guidelines
Once you’re familiar with the workflow, the task is designed to be relatively straightforward, you’re essentially quality-checking the translation using your language skills
You may be a good fit if you:
• Strong Mandarin / Chinese skills
• Comfortable reading and understanding Traditional Chinese
• Strong written Chinese is preferred
• Mainly write Simplified Chinese? You can still apply as long as you can read and understand Traditional Chinese
• Have at least intermediate Korean reading skills
• Able to understand Korean product descriptions
• Comfortable comparing Korean content against its Chinese translation
• Good attention to detail
• Able to identify differences in meaning and wording
• Comfortable following quality guidelines
• Communicative and reliable with the team
• Interested in language, translation, or AI-related work
Benefit
• USD 0.04 / accepted task for execution
• USD 0.018 / accepted task for QC
Once you're familiar with the workflow, the estimated speed is around 60–120 tasks/hour, which means you could earn approximately up to 4.80/hour during active execution
This is a good opportunity if you're looking to earn extra income remotely while using skills you already have in Korean and Chinese.
Your actual earnings will depend on your working speed, task availability, and task complexity.
