Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer

Job Summary You will lead the coordination and supervision of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations while driving project planning, design, and cost control to deliver successful outcomes. Responsibilities • Analyze project specifications and resolve technical clarifications to ensure accurate execution • Develop detailed method statements and identify drawing discrepancies to support project accuracy • Plan project activities, manage material requisition, control costs, and document progress to meet project objectives • Supervise M&E works and collaborate with client representatives, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve technical issues • Coordinate with other trades to maintain seamless workflow and timely project delivery • Enforce compliance of all M&E works with applicable standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations • Participate actively in project meetings to communicate progress and address challenges • Manage temporary M&E installations such as site offices, trial holes, and temporary power supplies to support project needs • Execute additional duties as assigned by Management to support project success Preferred competencies and qualifications • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent • Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E coordination to effectively manage complex projects • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit to produce and review technical drawings • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently • Experience with condominium projects is advantageous
