Cloud Solution Engineer

Job Responsibilities: • Building and integrating information systems within HUAWEI CLOUD to meet the company’s needs. • Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets. • Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions with improvements. • Resolving technical problems as they arise. • Providing supervision and guidance to development teams. • Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed. • Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented. • Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have. Job Requirements: • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, although consideration will be given to experience and certifications in lieu of degree. • Experience with solution specification and evaluation. • Experience with systems implementation and software development life cycle processes. • Previous project management experience is advantageous. • Experience in at least TWO (2) of the following domains is required: business process, mobile apps, games, integration, analytics, security, CI/CD platforms, networks, databases. • Experience in micro services or big data would be highly regarded but not essential.
