Senior Project Engineer (MRT Projects)

• Japanese MNC • A1 Main Contractor • Basic from $4,500 to $7,500 + AWS +Bonus • Location: Ang Mo Kio Responsibilities • Manage and oversee daily engineering and technical activities on site. • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. • Review and coordinate construction drawings, method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions. • Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities on technical, design, and site matters. • Monitor construction progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. • Identify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies encountered during construction. • Prepare and review RFIs, technical reports, progress updates, and other project documentation. • Coordinate construction activities and assist in resolving site and technical issues. • Assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and overall project delivery. Requirements • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline. • Relevant experience in civil construction for MRT, railway, or tunnelling projects preferably with A1 main contractors. • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management and relevant regulations. • Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. • Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
