CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Job Description • Plan, coordinate and manage construction projects from commencement to completion. • Oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and according to quality standards. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. • Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment and resources. • Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements and project documents. • Monitor project progress, costs, quality and work performance. • Supervise project managers, site engineers, supervisors and site workers. • Identify and resolve technical, operational and site-related issues. • Ensure all construction works comply with approved plans, specifications and applicable Singapore regulations. • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements at project sites. • Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and clients. • Coordinate procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to contractual requirements. • Assist in project planning, budgeting, tendering and contract administration. • Maintain proper project records and documentation. Requirements • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction/project management . • Experience in managing construction projects and site operations. • Good knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, cost control and contract administration. • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications. • Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. • Good knowledge of workplace safety and health requirements in Singapore. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software. • Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet project deadlines. • Experience in construction and M&E/electrical projects will be an advantage. • Relevant Singapore construction industry experience will be an advantage.
